My Work Experience - A Love Supreme

Image
So, I have been doing my work placement at popular Sunderland fanzine A Love Supreme. Whilst I've been there, I have written dozens of articles ranging from match previews, how we've fared against the opposition and transcribing press conference's. I even did some articles about the 2022 Qatar World Cup. By writing these articles I have developed my journalism skills, and built my own portfolio of articles. I began taking an interest in journalism in 2021, when I created my Instagram account Anonymous_SAFC. I wanted a place to give my opinions on SAFC, and A Love Supreme has helped give me a platform to voice my opinion. due to my work placement, I have being going into ALS every Friday, and I have done so since October.  Here is a link to my articles if you wish to read them. https://www.a-love-supreme.com/profile/0e679a99-3bd8-4037-8cbc-0308c791fb39/profile Here is one of my match previews, this one is Hull City. All of my previews follow this format, I personally kike to...

Networking Experiences

Here are all four of my networking posts. I am grateful for these opportunities and I hope to take the information I received on board. I wrote these up on a word template, and I spoke about them as people, as well as the event as a whole. These were good experiences for my progression. Additional Project - Animation Commentary Videos

Image
As well as doing the unboxing videos, I have also been creating my commentary videos. These videos can range from story time's, experiences, and opinions. I also use my character stills to help express my emotions, so they are another example of technical skill. I really enjoy creating these videos, and I have been consistently working on them over these last few months. I script these videos, so they take more time to make than my other projects. I do this because I really care about the quality of these projects. I have learned of how to make my stills transition into other expressions, and this is something I'm proud of.  Just like my other videos, I edit using a mixture of Kinemaster and Splice. The transitions on Splice are really professional, and they are perfect for displaying my technical skill. I have been editing with Kinemaster for four years, so I am really familiar with all of it's features. I really enjoy editing videos, and I would be open to the idea of bec...

Additional Project - Unboxing Videos

Image
So, over these last few months I have been making unboxing videos as well as doing this course. I have been unboxing Beyblades, and I have a YouTube channel with nearly 4k subscribers that is dedicated to them. My fans really enjoy my unboxing videos, so I thought I'd put some on my blog. They are a great display of my technical skill, and also show what I have been able to build in the media industry. I started making Beyblade unboxing videos in 2018, and I have developed them a lot since then. I edited these videos using a mixture of Kinemaster and Splice. I use Kinemaster for the majority of the process, and Splice for the transitions. I love doing a variety of different edits, ranging from zoom ins, green screen effects and flashy transitions. I have personally developed a reputation for doing raw videos, then editing the mistakes into the video and using them as humor. My fans enjoy this, so if it's not broke don't fix it. However, I do create scripted videos on my oth...

Mock Interview (Part 2)

Image
In this PowerPoint I discuss my BBC TV show Idea, that I will pitch at the end of January. This show could potentially get funding and air on TV, so I wanted to make sure I discussed my ideas and created a pilot episode. This will help my client gain a better understanding of the show. After they get a better look of the show, they will be able to decide on whether or not they want to invest in it.  Psychographics : My audience is most likely to mixture of mainstreamers and suceeders. This is because these are the types of people who are most likely to watch my product. My Show from ElliotDaroczy Here is my pilot episode This will help David Longworth get a better idea of what I am trying to create, and how long it will be. Hopefully, he will grasp a deeper understanding of the flow I'm going for. MY BBC MOCK INTERVIEW Here is my mock interview, I was interviewed by BBC Employee David Longworth, and it was recorded on Teams by Sally. If the video is a bit choppy then I apolo...
