Additional Project - Unboxing Videos

So, over these last few months I have been making unboxing videos as well as doing this course. I have been unboxing Beyblades, and I have a YouTube channel with nearly 4k subscribers that is dedicated to them. My fans really enjoy my unboxing videos, so I thought I'd put some on my blog. They are a great display of my technical skill, and also show what I have been able to build in the media industry. I started making Beyblade unboxing videos in 2018, and I have developed them a lot since then. I edited these videos using a mixture of Kinemaster and Splice. I use Kinemaster for the majority of the process, and Splice for the transitions. I love doing a variety of different edits, ranging from zoom ins, green screen effects and flashy transitions. I have personally developed a reputation for doing raw videos, then editing the mistakes into the video and using them as humor. My fans enjoy this, so if it's not broke don't fix it. However, I do create scripted videos on my other channel, where I focus more on my editing skills and cinematography.

I really enjoy creating content, and have so for seven years. By creating videos for an active audience, I am able to develop and pick up skills that I otherwise wouldn't get just from creating college projects.




Here is two unboxing videos, they have accumulated thousands of views and lots of interaction. By interacting with commenters I am able to develop my communication skills. I really appreciate all the support I get from my fans, so I make sure to interact with nearly every comment. These two comments are just the tip of they ice berg, I receive hundreds of comments monthly. 



 
After I upload the main video, I cut out segments and make them into YouTube shorts. Short form content is all the rage these days, so I thought it was important to get in on the action. I also upload these short videos to TikTok, because it's a really popular platform for short form content. These shorts help gather more views for my videos, so they are definitely worth doing. These viewers help grow my name and brand, so this ties into brand identity.
