My Cover Letter Research (Part 1)

So, here we have an example of a cover letter. As you can see, this person has gone into depth about their past in engineering. In mine I will talk about my past in content creation, and how I grow my pages. This person also spoke about their education, personally I will do this as well. However, I will share the grades I got because that helps my employers get to know me more. As well as this, they talk about what they are currently studying. I will talk about the fact I am a college student, who is studying media. This was helpful to read, it helped expand my knowledge on cover letters. I will consider this research when constructing my own.

TIPS FOR WRITING A COVER LETTER

make sure the company name and recruiter's details are correct. use the right language and tone: keep it professional and match the keywords used by the employer in their job advert. show you've done your research into the job and the company.

What do employers look for in a cover letter?

Recruiters say your cover letter should be succinct and: Show how your achievements relate to the role. Highlight how your skills and work experience are what the employer needs. Show genuine excitement and enthusiasm for the role.
