Additional Project - Animation Commentary Videos
As well as doing the unboxing videos, I have also been creating my commentary videos. These videos can range from story time's, experiences, and opinions. I also use my character stills to help express my emotions, so they are another example of technical skill. I really enjoy creating these videos, and I have been consistently working on them over these last few months.
Just like my other videos, I cut out segments of these videos and turn them into shorts. These shorts bring more eye balls to my content, and I also upload them to TikTok. I like to link my full video in the description, and pinned comment, this is to try and make the consumer watch the full video.
I script these videos, so they take more time to make than my other projects. I do this because I really care about the quality of these projects. I have learned of how to make my stills transition into other expressions, and this is something I'm proud of.
Just like my other videos, I edit using a mixture of Kinemaster and Splice. The transitions on Splice are really professional, and they are perfect for displaying my technical skill. I have been editing with Kinemaster for four years, so I am really familiar with all of it's features. I really enjoy editing videos, and I would be open to the idea of becoming an editor.
I have also experimented with my cinematography skills, when creating these videos, I normally use the shots for intro sequences. I experiment with slow motion shots, high angles, and low angles.
These are two videos I made recently, the first one is a brief review of 2022, and this video includes some solid cinematography at the start. I really enjoyed gathering the images, shots and voice lines to create this video. I wanted to make sure this video was as professional and entertaining as possible.
The second video is a story time video I made, about the self defense people who came in college. However, because this video is a story I focus on one topic instead of multiple segments. I also used my new microphone for this one, so my voice lines sound way more crisp. This video was really fun to make.
At the bottom is the script I wrote to make the second video, I personally like writing on paper. I like this because you don't get any technology issues, and it takes up less storage. I have wrote various scripts over the last few years, so I am experienced within this area.
