Analysing Digital Profiles

Here is a PowerPoint where I talk about my main 3 social media pages, I go into a bit more depth about their history and purpose. I really enjoy doing content creation in my spare time so I hope to grow these channels in the future. I started doing YouTube 6 years and it is the main reason I'm studying a media course. It has helped develop my media skills and give me skills that you simply can't teach on a media course. I personally would recommend content creation to any media student, because at the very least it gives you key skills that will help you in the media industry. I think a lot of people can't hack YouTube because it requires a lot of time, dedication and patience, so it's something that most people just don't have the time for. A lot of people just expect instant results and get demotivated when things don't go there way. 

On average, YouTubers with 100,000 subscribers can make between $600-$1,000 per week, bringing in between $2,400-$4,000 per month. This shows that YouTube can actually be a viable career option, if you play your cards right. The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) now has 2 million members. YPP is a monetization program for YouTubers to diversify their revenue streams. Partners receive the additional benefit of extra promotion, along with inclusion in various advertising programs that run not only on YouTube, but on other websites and even offline as well. Since YouTube is performing the extra promotion for you, you are free to create more videos to impress your growing audience.

ANALYSING CREATE BRITAIN ACCOUNTS

Create Britain profiles have an easy to read format that allows you to see more information about someone, as well as this you see their social media pages, past work, and skills. This is way more efficient than creating a website. I didn't create my profile without doing research, so I created a PowerPoint all about the research I have done.



Conclusion
So, the research I have done into digital profiles has really helped me grasp a better understanding of how they are structured and what they are for. The Create Britain accounts will help me get the necessary research I need to create my own. As well as this, I also talked about my own digital profiles, and why I have them. This is good research to have, because it gives previous examples of digital profiles I've made in the past. I enjoy creating digital portfolios, so my experience will show when I design my Create Britain account.
